Mick
Mick
Hi I’m Mick,
I’m a 1 year old red border collie boy with a short to medium length coat. I’m neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I‘m house trained, can be left with no problems at all and I travel well. I’m crate trained and although my heelwork on a lead is very good I can be reactive at times so my new owner will need to continue working on that (this includes being reactive at the vets to other dogs on the premises). I’m very high energy so will need lots of exercise in my new home too please.

The multi-dog household – when war breaks out

May 20th, 2015|1 Comment

Generally everything goes ok with multi-dog households, after a bit of butt sniffing and stiff legged walking they all get on well, play, share beds, eat next to each other..... but maybe not. Sometimes issues are evident from the get go, you can just see the way they are eyeing each other up and clearly not comfortable around each other and at other times they get on fine for ages and then KABOOM!!!

Tips for House Training your Adult Dog

May 20th, 2015|0 Comments

Dogs are naturally clean by nature and so for them to toilet indoors is unusual. They usually can be house trained unless there is a medical problem or they have spent a long time living outdoors where they could go where they liked or have been crated for long periods of time and were not able to hold it therefore breaking down the natural urge to stay clean and toilet away from sleeping and eating areas.
